Today was one of those extra busy days. Lots of walking and 2 kids with lots of energy made it VERY long. Wouldn't have traded it for the world!!! Off to breakfast.

We made sure they got decaf.

They also managed to find the Salt Water Taffy. When asked if he had some - "Only 4 pieces"

Have ball will throw. It doesn't matter where you are or what it is, it gets thrown. Rocks, wood, shells - whatever.

North Pacific water is just a bit colder than Texas water. The air temperature is only 60+ degrees and even in August the water is cold. These two were not at all deterred and played in it for at least 45 minutes with out drying off.

Wave jumping was a lot of fun. The chatter between them was priceless.

Airborne.

There was a pretty strong current in this little "river".

Carsen is soaking wet from head to toe and still wanted to stay on the beach and dig.

Grandma could not resist giving that face a kiss.

Karlee almost has the "Elvis lip" down pat.

Carsen had no clue who Elvis was but got into the spirit.

Notice to dog owners: If we are in town, be prepared to be asked if we can pet your dog. When we are done we promise to say "Thank You". Of the hundreds of dog owners approached over the last two days no one said no.

Tilt-o-Whirl Part 2 They got to do one more ride today and they both choose this.

They both liked it.

Will he eat it fast enough to keep the drips from dripping? (YES)

Older is often wiser. I don't have to hurry.

Older still is two scoops instead of one.

This fella' had two scoops too. (He just eats a lot faster - way faster.)

Look closely and you can see the ball about half way between the two.

Here it comes - watch the bat hit the ball.

Today was very warm and a cool drink tasted pretty good.

Once again older wins out.

I think this is about the only game we haven't played yet. We dropped off Karlee at her house and look what happened. Karlee got out the ball NOT Carsen - SURPRISE!!!

Back at Papa's house we checked on the tomatoes. Carsen found 2 ripe ones.

This was Carsen's idea for cousin Amanda "The Johnson"

This is the way they are supposed to be worn. (it's an inside family joke that goes way back.)

WOW barely describes the day. Hopefully tomorrow will be a catch our breath day with a trip to the model train store (We'll try not to max out the VISA) and a few less intense things planned.
