Busy days seem to be the norm.

I got a good night's sleep. (He's going to need it today)Kirkland has a great park with LOTS of cool kid stuff.

Who can resist jumping off of a swing.
The park had a couple of totally synthetic ball fields. We didn't bring a bat so we had to pretend.

We did however, have the gloves.
STRIKE!
We all got in on the action.
We tried to pick Carsen off of second but he was smarter than all of us - no one was covering third so he took off.

Another cool feature of the park were some climbing rocks.

We made it to the top of all three all on our own.
After the park we spent the afternoon at the pool. "What do I do next?"

"Look mom, I'm keeping my nose clean."
What would a trip to Washington be without a dip in Lake Washington.
Complete with sand and rocks....
... and a wet dog ...
... that liked to fetch the stick
The other night we fell out of bed. Here are the resulting - healing - wounds.
The last stop before heading home was a local eatery across from the lake.
They knew Carsen was coming.
"It's been a long day, when are we getting our food?"

The vanilla shake was the first thing to arrive. We also downed a big burger and a ton of fries.
A long day and a full stomach made it easy to sleep the whole way home.
